At Twisted Churros, we believe that a churro should be eaten nice and warm, the right sugar to cinnamon ratio is everything. That’s why we hand-craft our dough fresh and in batches. We appreciate this classic spanish treat known as “The Churro”, we just add in a little twist. We’re excited to bring something new and unique to the city of Dallas and hope you enjoy our creations.



Our Founding

Twisted Churros, LLC. was founded in 2018 by Paul Newsome. The idea first came intuition in December of 2017. In my full time career I work for a financial institution and was promoted to Lower Greenville area of Dallas. There I saw many small businesses, such as ice cream shops, macaroon shops, etc. That was my inspiration, I thought all these small business owners are living their dream, I’ve always been an entrepreneur by heart and I love to cook, what can I bring to the people and share my passions. Voila! Twisted Churros was born. After the recommendation of multiple people to sell at Dallas Farmers Market, I went and sought out information and the rest is history. We are still improving and building our brand, we have made some new friends along the way *Special shout out to the vendors at DFM, they are some hardworking great people. I could not have done this without the help of my better half, she was with me pregnant!, in the blistering 100 degree Texas summer heat! serving churros, I’m so blessed for her being supportive of my crazy ideas. We are grateful to all our customers, and for all the positive feedback we’ve received thus far. Thank You!
